Hi, I’m Hampton.

I’m a photographer based in the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia area, and for the past five years I’ve been capturing the moments people want to hold on to.

Photography started as a hobby for me in high school back home in Alabama. In college, that hobby grew into photographing graduations, family portraits, and events. From there it led to engagements and weddings, where I get to tell some of the most meaningful stories in people’s lives.

I moved to the D.C. area a year and a half ago, and I bring a little Southern hospitality to every session. My goal is for you to feel relaxed and completely yourself, so your photos look natural and feel like you.

What keeps me behind the camera is simple: I genuinely love working with people, and I love taking photos. Getting to preserve memories that you’ll look back on for years is the best part of what I do.

When I’m not photographing clients, I’m usually still shooting: ballgames, road trips, mountains, and anything with good light. See my personal work.
